Lawn Bowls Schools Program

Payneham Bowling Club has a policy to encourage Schools to add Lawn Bowls to their sporting curriculum. If you are interested in this option for your school, call the Club's Junior Bowls co-ordinator, Brian Ballard on 0438 095 058.

We have 12 schools in the area to offer this option and we are hoping they will contact us for bowls coaching as a school activity.

If any school has any queries about this program call Brian and he will arrange to meet with you and discuss your options and arrange to fit in with your school program.

Future Plans for this program include the formation of a Junior Bowling Academy with regular competitions, coaching and progression through the Sports various playing levels, with the hope of producing future Australian Bowls Champions.

We will be presenting the new Development Officer of Bowls SA, Kelli Wray, with a draft of the Academy concept, so that they can assist us in getting this idea into production. Keep Watching.
