PROVISION FOR MEMBERS

The Club enters teams in the South Australian Pennant competition each year, in 2009/10 we have entered seven teams for the Saturday Pennants and six teams for the Wednesday Pennants, results of these pennant games can be seen each week in the local press on Thursday and Sunday.

Formal Coaching/Practice Sessions are on Tuesday (Metro Sides), Thursday (Metro One East)and Friday (Premier One & Two) at 5.00 - 6.30pm. Our Club Captain has stated that it is 'Highly Desirable' for players to attend these sessions regularly and take the opportunity offered to develop their game further our Coaches will be on hand to assist.

Many coaching drills and ideas can be found if you Click here for the Coaches Corner, where you can find useful information on ways to help to improve your game.

The club also runs a range of Tournaments, for its own members and invited guests, throughout the year. In addition, several mixed doubles competitions are held to ensure that the members' spouses are brought into the Club's sporting activities. These are all excellent social as well as sporting events, which ensure that new members are quickly integrated into the social fabric of the Club. Details of some of the events can be found on the Club's Social page.

But members appreciate the informal events as much. On most fine afternoons and evenings in the Summer, members turn up and play bowls with others in informal pairs and foursomes. Often known as 'practice'
